Welcome to Step Up Academy

Step Up Academy offers numerous classes from fun and funky dance classes to martial arts, music lessons, art and numerous exercise classes for everyone from babies to adults of all capabilities and from beginners to more advanced.

Our dance classes incorporate the latest genres of music, teaching techniques and dance styles from ‘Kinderdance’ for little beginners, ‘Mummy and Me Dance’ for mums and toddlers to The Royal Academy of Dance at examination level.

The diverse styles of dance allow students to increase their self confidence, through the help of creative teaching by qualified instructors in a wide range of styles which will develop co-ordination, performance, flexiblity and rhythm whilst learning and progressing in their chosen dance style always ensuring that dance is fun and exciting.

All of our classes develop a child’s interaction, confidence and social skills and our Kinder classes are designed to develop gross motor skills, movement and creativity whilst learning the basics of new dance styles in a fun environment.  

Our Art classes for children are designed to develop creative thinking and inspiration whilst exploring techniques and colours and using different media.  From beginners to Master Artists helping children to express themselves in their own unique way.
